About the job
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our awesome People team! This mid-level role requires a professional with experience in business partnering and strong business acumen, particularly in performance management, employee relations, and fostering employee engagement. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work closely with leaders to bring our People strategy to life—from building strong, high-performing teams to shaping culture and supporting business growth.
What you will be doing
- Be a true partner to the business: You'll work closely with leaders and managers across the organization to support team development, engagement, and performance. You’ll help translate business strategy into people actions that actually make a difference.
- Coach, support, and challenge: You’ll be a trusted advisor for both managers and employees—coaching through tough conversations, helping resolve complex issues, and supporting teams through all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Support core people processes: From performance management and employee relations to onboarding and internal mobility, you’ll help us run smooth, people-first processes that drive growth and alignment.
- Drive culture and engagement: You’ll play a big role in strengthening our company culture—leading engagement initiatives, supporting events and learning sessions, and keeping our values front and center.
- Use data to drive change: You’ll track key metrics like turnover, engagement, and performance trends to spot opportunities and improve how we work.
What would make you a great fit?
- 3+ years of solid HR experience in a business partner or similar role
- Strong background in performance management, employee relations, and team engagement
- Confident working independently, with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership
- Skilled communicator and coach, comfortable advising leaders and solving complex people challenges
- Solid understanding of Maltese employment law and HR compliance (or the ability to learn quickly)
- Experience in the iGaming environment is a plus
- Comfortable using HRIS tools and data to inform decisions
- Bonus points if you have leadership experience, even if in a different function or capacity other than HR.
