About the job: 

We’re looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer who’s eager to learn and grow in a hands-on, hybrid role that blends DevOps responsibilities with internal IT support.

Your primary focus (approx. 80–90%) will be on DevOps: maintaining infrastructure reliability, supporting CI/CD processes, monitoring systems, and helping optimize our workflows across development, QA, and deployment. You’ll work closely with Developers, QA, and senior engineers, gaining exposure to real-world infrastructure management while developing both your technical and problem-solving skills.

The remaining 10–20% of your time will be dedicated to internal IT support — assisting colleagues with day-to-day technical issues, setting up devices, managing access, and contributing to a stable and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain reliable backup strategies to ensure system resilience and recoverability.

• Monitor infrastructure using internal tools to identify issues proactively and reduce downtime.

• Analyze server logs to identify anomalies, trends, or recurring issues.

• Support the troubleshooting and maintenance of WordPress and PHP-based systems under senior guidance.

• Investigate and resolve issues in GitHub Actions pipelines and CI/CD processes.

• Follow established team workflows, document technical actions clearly, and seek feedback for improvement.

• Contribute to standardized deployment processes and help maintain reproducible, clean environments.

• Provide internal IT support, including:

• Troubleshooting employee hardware and software issues.

• Setting up and configuring devices, user accounts, and access levels.

• Supporting ongoing IT projects, tickets, and service requests to maintain internal service levels.

What we're looking for:

• You have foundational knowledge of Apache, Nginx, MySQL, and GitHub Actions.

• You’re comfortable using Linux systems and navigating the command line.

• You understand and apply Git workflows and commit discipline.

• You’re a curious, proactive team player who values clear communication and transparent documentation.

• You’re open to feedback, eager to grow technically (especially in infrastructure monitoring and log analysis), and thrive in collaborative environments.

• You have basic knowledge of Office 365 administration, and ideally some experience with Microsoft Defender 365 and Intune.

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Exposure to containerization tools (Docker)

• Awareness of CI/CD principles and YAML-based pipeline definitions

• Experience or interest in WordPress, Bedrock, caching systems, or basic scripting (Bash, Python)
